Grading and Assignment Feedback

Graders & Assignment Grading
Students will have assignments graded by both their regular Mentor and dedicated Graders, depending on the type of assignment.

How Grading Works
Students submit assignments through the Springboard curriculum, and grading is handled as follows:

• Grader Assignments: These are assessed by dedicated Graders using a rubric, with feedback provided directly in the rubric. Grading follows a 10-point scale:
  
  
  • 7 and above = Pass
  • Below 7 = Needs more work
  • Grader assignments are typically evaluated within three (3) business days.
    
    
• Mentor Assignments: These include capstone projects and other assignments requiring significant context. They are graded by the student’s regular Mentor and evaluated on a Pass / Needs More Work basis.
