Academic Integrity & Conduct

Student Code of Conduct

At Springboard, we are committed to maintaining a respectful, honest, and supportive learning environment. As a student, it is your responsibility to adhere to the Code of Conduct outlined below. Violations may result in disciplinary actions, including suspension or expulsion from your program. For complete details, please refer to our official Code of Conduct.

Academic Integrity

Maintaining academic honesty is fundamental to your success and the integrity of the program. Plagiarism and academic misconduct are not tolerated under any circumstances. Examples of violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Submitting work that is not your own or copied from external sources without proper attribution.
  • Using code from public repositories without acknowledgment.
  • Utilizing datasets or written content from outside sources without citing them appropriately.
  • Sharing your work with other students or copying work from others.
  • Misrepresenting someone else's ideas, code, or research as your own.

Any student found violating the plagiarism policy may face disciplinary actions, including being barred from graduation. For more guidance, reach out to your advisor or review the resources on proper citation in the first unit of your course.

Honor Code

To foster a culture of integrity and fairness, Springboard students are expected to adhere to the following principles:

  • All projects and assignments must be your own original work unless collaboration is explicitly allowed.
  • You must register for your course through one account and not share your login information.
  • You will not allow others to complete assignments, projects, or exams on your behalf.
  • You will not copy, share, or distribute another student’s work or project submissions.

By adhering to these principles, you contribute to a supportive and honest learning environment where everyone can thrive.

Consequences of Violating the Code of Conduct

Violating the Code of Conduct or Honor Code can result in serious consequences, including but not limited to:

  • Formal warnings and probation
  • Removal from your cohort or program
  • Withholding of your certificate or graduation
  • Permanent expulsion from the program
